We use the information we collect to authenticate your account, facilitate reservations and event registrations, provide member support, send notifications and updates, improve App performance, and ensure the security and proper functioning of our systems. We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us with hosting, maintenance, communication, and operational support, as well as with UClubDC staff when needed to support member services and operations. All changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon updating. Your continued use of the App after a Privacy Policy update signifies your acceptance of those changes. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The University Club of Washington, D.C. (“UClubDC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) mobile application (“the App”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is intended for UClubDC members, authorized dependents, and approved guests, and by using it, you confirm that you are an active UClubDC member or authorized user and at least 18 years old, or using the App under appropriate supervision.

To use the App, you must log in with your UClubDC membership credentials, and you agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login details, and notify the UClubDC immediately of any unauthorized account activity. You are responsible for all actions taken under your account. You may use the App only for lawful purposes consistent with UClubDC rules, including viewing UClubDC information, managing reservations or event registrations, updating your profile, and communicating with staff. You agree not to attempt to access other users’ accounts, interfere with the App’s functionality, attempt to reverse-engineer or modify its systems, or misuse UClubDC communication tools in any way.

By using the App, you consent to receive UClubDC communications such as notifications, reminders, updates, and confirmations as part of App functionality. You may disable non-essential notifications in your device settings. All content within the App, including logos, imagery, text, and software, is the property of UClubDC or its partners and may not be copied or distributed without written permission. The App may include links or integrations with third-party services, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies. UClubDC is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of these services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if your membership ends, if you violate these Terms, or if necessary for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, availability, performance, or compatibility. UClubDC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, device issues, or failures of third-party services connected to App use. You agree to indemnify and hold UClubDC harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms at any time, and updates will appear in the App with a revised “Last Updated” date. All changes to these Terms will be effective immediately upon updating. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia.
