Deluxe Rooms

Our Deluxe Rooms are our most spacious guest rooms, perfect for on-the-go members and guests. Stay in the south wing to enjoy delightful city views facing 16th Street, or stay in the north wing. They are available with one double bed, queen bed, or king bed. Deluxe Rooms occupy the top two floors of the Club and include upgraded in-room amenities:

Superior Rooms

Approximately 150 sq. ft.

Our Superior Rooms are our most spacious guest rooms, perfect for on-the-go members and guests. Stay in the south wing to enjoy delightful city views facing 16th Street, or stay in the north wing.

They are available with one double bed, queen bed, or king bed.

Executive Rooms occupy the top two floors of the Club and include upgraded in-room amenities:

Governor's Suite

The Governor's Suite is our most spacious guest rooms, perfect for on-the-go members and guests. Vice Presidential Suite

The Vice Presidential Suite is our most spacious guest room, perfect for on-the-go members and guest. Payment

For your convenience, we accept various payment methods, including credit cards and cash.

Processing Fee

Please note that members making payments with a credit card will incur a 4% processing fee. To avoid this extra charge, members have the option to bill their room charges to their member account.

Sponsored Guests

Guests are required to be sponsored by a Club member or a reciprocal club member. When staying at our Club, members' guests can enjoy full access to our facilities, such as the pool, fitness center, restaurants, meeting rooms, and library. Letters of Introduction can be sent to [email protected].

Dress Code

Our dress code across the clubhouse is business casual. Dress denim of a uniform color, paired with a collared shirt and dress shoes, is permissible in the John J. Pershing Grille, in the Founders' Pub, and when traversing the first-floor lobby. A jacket is mandatory when visiting the William Howard Taft Dining Room. Members and guests dressed in athletic attire must use the designated athletic entrance, situated at the back of the clubhouse through the west alley, and should use the athletic elevator (located on the basement floor) or the athletic staircase.

Pet Policy

No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy

We accept cancellations for all reservations until 2:00 p.m. ET one (1) day before your scheduled arrival. To cancel a reservation, please call (202) 862-8800. Ensure that you receive a cancellation number for your records. Cancellations made after this deadline will incur a charge of one night's stay (plus a surcharge) for each reservation canceled.
